My pool is cloudy - how do I fix it?

If you have just discovered your pool has turned a little cloudy - follow these instructions and you should have a clear pool in no time!

CLOUDY POOL TREATMENT

REMOVE POOL CLEANER

Remove pool cleaner completely

PREPARE EQUIPMENT

Clean cartridge or backwash sand filter. Clean baskets etc

ADD ACID

Add 1/2 litre of Acid per 10,000 litres

ADD CHLORINE

Add 300 grams of Chlorine per 10,000 litres

ADD CLARIFIER

Add 1 litre of Water Polish

ADD ALGAECIDE

Add 200ml of Long Life Algaecide per 10,000 litres

RUN THE PUMP

Run the pump until clear, this can take up to 24 hours

VACUUM TO WASTE

To obtain the best results, vacuum pool to waste to eliminate particles

BALANCE THE WATER

Test and balance pool levels

CHECK YOUR EQUIPMENT

Check all of your equipment is working properly
