Why you need a spa pool!
Share
If you really want a spa pool and your partner is hesitating, then tell them it may be great for your health. We all know good health is a necessity!
1. Cardiovascular health
Apparently submerging yourself in water in general up to your neck gives you a cardiac workout. The water puts more pressure on your body which increases your cardiac volume. In other words, when you’re soaking in water, your heart works harder and that helps it stay healthy.
2. Help you to sleep & Reduce stress
We all know hot water promotes relaxation which helps you sleep. When you put your tense body in a tub of hot water, the heat raises your body temperature and causes your muscles to relax.
However, make sure you don't fall asleep in the tub, that could be dangerous!
3. Ease aches & pains
As explained earlier, hot water in general helps relax your body. This can also ease aches and pains associated injuries like muscle pulls or even arthritis. If you’re in pain and it’s not a broken bone, a good soak will probably do you the world of good.
4. Lower Blood Pressure
Studies have shown that sitting in a spa bath can lower your blood pressure. This is great for those who are at risk for heart disease or suffer from hypertension. Of course you must check with your Doctor beforehand if you do suffer any Cardiac problems.
5. Clean your body
Heat causes your pores to dilate and this can be a good thing when you’re in a clean environment like a spa bath. By opening the pores, you give the water a chance to work its way in there and clean out the various dirt and toxins from your skin. The result is a refreshed feeling with potentially clearer skin. The detoxification process can make you feel better too!
6. It may reduce your headaches
Between the dilated blood vessels, relaxing, and warmth surrounding your body, spas may also help reduce headaches. By dilating the blood vessels, it can decrease pressure in your head which helps get rid of headaches. If you suffer from headaches then a good soak in the spa may help.
7. Improve your vibe
When you feel good, you are more likely to have positive and happy thoughts. Since spa baths can do all these amazing things for you, the mental health benefit is pretty real. When you get into a spa bath feeling bad and the bath makes you feel better, it’ll make you feel better about yourself and when you feel good, you feel more confident. A good soak before a big event can help you relax, have more confidence in yourself, and help you be more prepared mentally.
While all these reasons are very enticing to rush out and buy a spa, bear in mind there are a few risks for some people. Pregnant women should wait until the baby has arrived before partaking in a luxurious soak to avoid complications. Those with Cardiovascular health concerns should consult their doctors to be assured the heat will not affect them in a negative manner.
